Where did month 18 and half of 19 go?

Well where have we been? Super busy. swimming, riding the ferry, playing with dogs, going to the beach, shopping, hanging out at Meemom's,eating out, cooking and playing playing playing and growing up way too fast

Angel Girl,

You grow and change every day and that is so not an exaggeration. You are truly amazing. Your dad and I have perfected our morning and evening routine. We are quite pleased with ourselves. You, you just roll with it. You are sleeping later allowing Momma to roll out of bed at 5 am to get a workout in. That is right people five am. I enjoy it once i am up but it is SO early. You have been very cooperative with the Meemom this month as well. Quite easy to put down for nap. In the past you fought it with all of your will. You are also getting to the point where you understand bribery or rationale a little bit. You continue to climb and run and dance and sing. You dance in your car seat to many different types of music. The animals still top your list. Day or night, you wake up and almost daily your first word is Bob. You need to know where he is and what he is doing before we can start our day! You and Daddy have been taking a daily evening walk in the evening while I cook dinner. We have actually all been sitting together and eating AT A TABLE for the first time since you were born. We go out to eat quite a bit but could never figure out how to get our evenings to work well enough for this. WE DID IT. Yay for mom and dad only took us 17 months.... oh well.
You love to show off for special visitors. You adore your uncle KC and love to show him all of your new tricks as quickly as possible when he arrives. Sometimes you try them all at once. You are quite the flirt. Momma has really been making a conscious effort to slow down and enjoy all of these special moments that seem to flying by. You always have time for a smile, hug or kiss and I love it. You are a really funny girl. You can always get a legitimate laugh from me, your daddy and anyone else who pays attention. You are something else and so silly. You have added moon, dog and the occasional dude to your vocabulary. Mommy and Daddy really need to pay more attention to the wordsd that come out of their mouths because you are trying to repeat things. Everything else you just say uhm and point. Mommy has not quite figured out how to wean you completely. We have made progress but you are not quite ready yet. We will keep working and in time it will happen. I love you so much princess.

15 months

Well Elle Belle,

You are 15 months old. You continue to grow and get smarter and smarter. You are such a joy! You are running and climbing EVERYWHERE!! You are talking more and more some things we can't understand but the words you use regularly are clear as day. Your new favorite is HOT and you say it with authority. You still love the puppies and Bob the most. They are so good with you that I really can't believe it.You are mesmerized by other kids. You love to watch them. This was your second year to attend Mardi Gras festivities and you did it like a champ. You went to parades for both weekends of Mardi Gras. You were excited and danced as the bands went by. You wore your beads and partied like a champ. When the parade was over. You kept looking for more and then waved bye bye to the parade. The second weekend of Mardi Gras The NJ Buerglers were here with us! Eva and Johnny loved Mardi Gras also. You had a wonderful time. Mommy is counting down the weeks until Spring Break and Summer. We are gonna have a blast! This week I stayed home with you and you continually tried to tell me different things that i didn't understand. NaNa was thrown in there several times and then you would get frusturated. I think you were saying. I know it is a weekday and this is not how meemom does things-get it right woman. I am doing my best pootie girl. We love you so much!

P.S. My little vegetarian finally ate some meat. Meemom made rock cornish game hen and you ate it. You also ate a little bit of her chicken!

9 months....what????

How can it be? My princess is already NINE months old. I know time flies when you are having fun but this is becoming ridiculous. I really need to slow down and take it all in. Everyday there is a new accomplishment. Everyday a stronger personality is showing through. You are VERY strong willed. You know what you want and how to get it. You want to be heard and honey you are. You are also the sweetest damn thing around. Elle, you are a complete doll. Your daddy told me when you were a week old that I think you are my little baby doll. I told him you are the best baby doll that I have ever had and you are MINE!! I love to dress you. Your meemom and I spend lots of time picking out the cutest clothes ever. We love to put you in them and accessorize you up, girl.
You crawl everywhere and quickly.Sometimes you crawl with your knees up. Yet you think it is over rated. You are really wanting to walk. You pull yourself up on people and things constantly and have been for a while. You want to take off running. Momma and Dada are not quite ready for that. And I donn't think MeeMom is either. You laugh regularly and get very excited about familiar faces, books and especially the animals. YOU LOVE THE DOGS AND CATS. They have been really great about tolerating you. Buddy is still asking me if you are really staying here everytime you rip out handfulls of his fur. You love, love ,love your DaDa and smile and laugh and him constantly. DaDa does all of these crazy and insanely dangerous upside down and tossing around games that you think are hilarious! You love your baths and reading books and you love being the center of attention. You get excited when you see people that you know. You love to make funny faces and smile at people. You have added even more to your diet. You eat: avocado, banana, brown rice, oatmeal, peaches, pears, apples, tofu, mango, broccoli, green beans, sweet potatoes, yogurt, carrots, watermelon and puffs, whole wheat pasta and melon. Avocado is still your favorite by far! You have 5 teeth and more coming in. You were 20 whole pounds at your last dr.appt. Your nine month appt is coming up. Mommy is dreading going back to work and leaving you. You don't understand because you love your meemom's school. You melt me completely. Everytime you hold on to me and we cuddle I think that there is no way I can love you any more but I do. Everyday I love you a little bit more. You make us all so proud and happy my pootie princess girl.
