Lily Grace turns 1

LGB I have failed at my blogging. Apparently I am a little busier as a working mother of two than I was as a working mother of one. You are absolutely amazing. You are a beautiful blonde haired blue eyed princess. You are a very sweet, cuddly girl who loves to hug and kiss. You are OBSESSED with your big sister and think that everything that she does is funny. You love to play with her even if she doesn’t love it all the time. You also love your family and MIlagro. You are talking a lot more than your sister was at this age and love to do it. Of course Daddy was your first word. You call me “boobie” which shows your love of breastfeeding. You say: El (Elle), Me (Meemom), dog, bear, ball and many other things. You walk holding on but take a few steps on your own. You are holding onto being the baby as long as possible. (Elle was full on walking at 10 months, not that we are comparing. It just shows the difference in your personalities.)You want to be held ALL THE TIME and well we pretty much oblige. When you don’t want to be held you want someone holding your finger so you can walk around. Your teeth have been very difficult on you. They are coming in more slowly than they have for your sissy and they bother you a lot more. This has hindered your eating. Some days you only drink milk and yum yum teething crackers, other days you eat EVERYTHING. You are growing so fast. You are a big girl, trying to catch up to your sissy. You are wearing 24 months in most things yet you are only 12 months. You are long and big according to the charts. This past year has gone so fast I can’t even believe it. Mommy and Daddy have a confession to make. When I was pregnant with you we found ourselves asking each other and Meemom how we could ever love anything else as much as we love Elle. Meemom told us that your heart just magically grows. I wasn’t sure that was true. Yet the moment I laid eyes on you and held you to my chest it happened. It truly is possible to love two children equally. You girls are such amazing little people. You are both so perfect in every way. You two are such a good balance for each other. I think you will be best friends forever! Thank you for always waking up with a smile on that pretty face, reminding us what life is really all about. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is you are always happy to see us, we appreciate that! Thanks for all the pats and hugs and kisses. I am so proud to be your Momma. We are so happy that you are ours. You are the perfect fit. There is tons of more fun to be had. We love you sweet baby “Willy” XOXO Momma
